can work
Operating areas
Air Operations
Booking, coordination of direct cargo flights out of Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and New York, and monitoring of time-critical shipments.
Customs Services
Preparing documentation, following up with regulatory authorities, and coordinating pickups at ports and airports.
Ocean Operations
FCL and LCL bookings, breakbulk, roll-on/roll-off, and project cargo. Coordination with ocean carriers and port agents.
Sales and Pricing
Prospecting, quoting, negotiating with carriers and shipping lines, account management, and relationships with international agents.
Warehousing and Distribution
Bonded warehouse, CFS, and 3PL operations: receiving, inspection, repacking, and inventory management.
Technology and Suport
Maintaining tracking systems, warehouse automation, and real-time visibility tools.
What we
look for?
Profile
Previous freight forwarding experience counts, but it isn’t a requirement. Part of the technical knowledge in this industry is built on the job.
Attention to detail:
Correct documentation and classification determine how long it takes to clear a shipment.
Organization under deadline:
Cut-offs, departures, and shipping windows structure the routine of this industry.
Clear communication:
Explaining a shipment’s status to a client, agent, or colleague with no room for interpretation.
Willingness to learn:
Regulations, routes, and systems change frequently.
Languages:
The operation is international and the team is multilingual. Portuguese and Spanish are a plus for the Latin America trade lane.
